I love Daiso!
So I shouldn't feel too bad because I was actually planning to buy carving tools and erasers in order to make stamps. Naturally, I felt super excited that I found them at Daiso for $1.50! Such a great deal. So regardless of whether or not I promised myself to buy something, I had to get it.
Now I can try making my own stamps as I was inspired by Elisse to do in her awesome blog. Please visit her blog if you're interested in finding out how to make stamps! I know that I will be trying it out very soon :D So excited!
And of course, how could I not buy this? ok ok, I know it was useless (not very functional in the shower), but it was just too cute! I could not resist >_~
Oh yay! I really want to see your finished stamps :) And that little white fish (is it a fish?) thingie is adorable!
ReplyDeleteYes, I will definitely post about it when I get to making them! perhaps I will make one of the fish thing haha
DeleteI'm like that when I got to the craft shop too, I say I won't buy anything and instead come away with a couple of things instead. I can't wait to see though what kind of stamps you create
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's so hard to resist. The best way is to just not go in, but then you also miss out on potential ideas!
DeleteAwe, everything looks so neat! :P
ReplyDeleteHope your week's off to a great start! ;D
Thanks for stopping by Miki! It is a great start so far, I hope yours is well too :D
DeleteI bought that set of carving tools from Daiso too! Like you, I'm planning to make my own rubber stamps though I've not started on them yet, :)
ReplyDeleteCool! I can't wait to see what you make. It should be fun!
DeleteI luckily don't have a Daiso in my city. I say luckily because I like both my kidneys and I don't fancy selling one of them to afford all the Daiso items that I'd go crazy over. :) But those are great purchases.
ReplyDeletegotta protect those kidneys, haha. Daiso is indeed a dangerous store :P
DeleteWhy do you have all these lovely stationery shops to walk into and Sydney doesn't :( or maybe I'm searching hard enough...
ReplyDeleteOmgsh, I've been wanting to know how to make my own stamps but by reading Elisse's blog (thanks for sharing by the way ^^) it seems like I already know how to make them LOL I use to do that during class whenever I was bored, haha.
